End + Epilogue
And that's a wrap.
It's been a blast, everyone! With the last tag that I did, the mod plot is done. Vorinus is dead, Almagoras is gone and at peace, and the House system is no more; instead, characters have magic drawn from nature and with a unique way for each person to draw that out, like we discussed. We won't belabor the details.
Everyone's back at Paracelsus, though they're free to leave if they want.
If you wanna do epilogue stuff, please feel free! Set it whenever you'd like -- and I'll leave the comms alive forever, so you can do it now or in six months. Whenever the mood strikes you!
This is, however, the formal end of the game. I hope you had fun with us; I know I did, and it's been a wild ride these last three years. I know we were terribly slow at times, because RL was a thing, and I'm sorry for those times! I hope y'all all loved your characters and the story we told. I think it was a pretty good one!
I'll probably stop logging into #paracelsus on Monday; I think it's time to turn over to the next game, and not be hopping between two channels with all the same people. See everyone there, and thank you so much for playing with us!

Step 1: Find an appropriate Text from Last Night.
Step 2: Tag in with your character.
Step 3: RP accordingly. It doesn't count.

Hey guys,
So we're five weeks into nightmare stuff now. In the name of progress, I would like whoever is going to join in on Ash's post- which is the "end" of the dungeon, and thus the big event post for this section- to do so within the next week.
Granted Hibi and Tex will be more or less absent this weekend ('cause cons are awesome), I will be moving things along on Monday, and instate a 24 hour rule to get things going. Imagine it like a Telltale game- there is a time limit on how your character chooses to react, and silence is considered an option.
If you find you need more time, that is totally okay! Let me know. I'll make sure the next person knows to wait, but please be reasonable with this.
And don't think I mean for this to stop other things from happening! If people still want to post other logs, by all means do so. This is to get us more firmly on the road to the next section.

Hi everyone! I'll be out from the 11th to the 14th.
I'll be out of town a little before that but I expect to be around some, since I'll mostly be chilling at my folks' place.

Endgame Planning!
Hello, everybody!
As we mentioned a few times, in weekchange, chat, and PMs, the game is moving to a close. We want to talk about the end of the game, because it's coming up. First, we want to give a broad outline of the expected remainder of the game. Second, we want to talk about the things we will need from you to make stuff happen. Third, we want to open the floor to make sure we hit any points that people would like to visit.
Onto the outline!
WEEK 35: This is the current week. We have it outlined in Weekchange, but for reference.
WEEK 36: This week starts with characters bringing down Hundun. After this, given that he has a scroll and has promised to get the rest (and is controlling Undine, still, and then some), going after Vorinus seems likely. Whether the characters leave to do this then or they remain at Paracelsus, there will be a Vorinsky attack upon them. This will be a large battle that closes out the week. We'll talk about this battle below!
WEEK 37: The Keepers, Slayers, and any allies that are willing venture forth to the Dire Citadel, Vorinus's ancient keep (at least, we assume so!). It is crawling with nasties; we are thinking to split people up into three to four parties, depending on the number of interested characters, and running it like a Tower dungeon crawl, where players take turns GMing short-ish segments inside of the Dire Citadel. During this, some characters will uncover legendary weapons (or, if worked out with the mods, Other Powers) that'll make fighting Vorinus possible. We'll discuss this below!
EPILOGUE WEEK: After all's said and done, we'll run for another IC week to let people wrap up their arcs and close out their characters.
Before we continue: this is not set in stone! We picked out what feels most likely, as a starting point. If you'd rather have your characters approach this another way, let us know! Similarly, if you have things you want to include, please let us know. We're leaving basically all of Week 36 to wrap stuff up (and indeed, there's an event regarding the fate of the Castillos the mods may run then). We can -- and will! -- add a week, even two, if people need it. We don't, however, want to add an entire extra arc to the game, so a complex plot that takes several weeks to wrap up isn't likely to be included.
What do we need from players?
First, during the battle in week 36, we need NPCed Vorinskies and spirits. Vorinus is sending a lot of people there. We're hoping to get smaller scale fights -- one versus one, one versus two, two versus three, et cetera -- instead of a few large boss fights. If you can help, we'd appreciate it!
Second, we need to know: did Rhys and Ezra keep their scrolls on their person when they went into Hundun or did they leave them hidden somewhere? This will affect their disposition when they return (and also the nature of the final boss fight).
Next, inside the Dire Citadel, we'll split up GMing duties as people climb through the final dungeon on their way to the battle against Vorinus. This will work like the Tower crawls, until everyone gets to the end.
The final battle against Vorinus and the obligatory real final battle against I Can't Believe It's Not Zeromus (yes, we're serious) will have limited seating. During the trek through the Dire Citadel, one character per mun will receive a piece of legendary gear. This will be a serious power-up: it'll enhance one of their Schools, provide a new super spell, and generally make the character much stronger. This has a strict limit of one character per mun, and only those characters can fight Vorinus and the real final battle. So, pick which character gets that, if you have multiple characters, and feel free to design the artifact!
The artifact, so you know, is part of Vorinus's dread arsenal gathered over millennia. They are often ancient. Some may be weapons, armor, and artifacts with spirits sealed in them so they can talk and provide extra power. Some are just ridiculously strong. Let us know what you want; we're very flexible.
Finally, at the end, it is very likely that all of the Scrolls and the Key will be gathered in one place. If this is the case, characters have the option to change the setting and undo (for example) the House system of magic, the existence of magic in the first place, and other elements. We'd prefer OOC discussion about this; while we're fine with conflict over it, we'd rather know what we're doing. Especially because it affects the epilogue week!
Thank you for running through the game with us. It's been a crazy two years, and both mods had a lot of fun. We hope you have, too, and here's to an exciting end of the game!

Hiatus
I have a big certification exam I've been studying for for the last few months, a big part of my relative slowness lately.
Well THE TIME IS AT HAND and I take the tests on Monday and Tuesday of next week. In preparation to actually succeed I will be double scarce until then. I will try to wrap existing threads and get back to some people who've been waiting on me (SORRY) but I won't be able to do much until about this time next week.

Heart Meme, Take 3
This doesn't talk about anyone's CR in the game, I think, but it will lighten your mood. BUT NOT YOUR CHARACTER'S. Because it'll be twenty years before they hear this song.
( The Heart Meme is back. BECAUSE WE BROKE SO MANY. )

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT
Due to the events in the plot log, all members of House Castillo and House Patisse are now (magically, at least) members of House Almagoras. This is true across the entire world.

Out of town!
Much like Hibi, I'm gonna be out of town! Just, not nearly as long. Thursday through Monday; I will be back later on Monday night. Tags... could happen but no promises!
Given that, I believe, Doom is also incidentally out of town that weekend...
Uh, good time to catch up on your video game backlog? D:

AFTER THE FIGHT
Hi everybody! This doubles as a plotting post and a quick summary of where we're at.
After the fight, Guillaume will show up. We may RP this out; we may not. Acher, Guillaume, and Victor will be on the students' side and protecting them; they can arrange for the people Apollo's possessed, once incapacitated, to be moved and restrained at a SICU facility. At this point, students have a couple choices.
First: they can go back into the school. Acher and Guillaume suggest wards around their dorms to monitor them, and basically keeping an eye on them. This is less suspicious and doesn't risk getting others involved.
Second: they could go to a SICU safehouse, located a little away from campus; it's in some old servants' quarters they used for mortal workers at Paracelsus prior to the invention of the automobile.
They could mix the two.
If he learns about the whale attack -- and Carlie, unless advised otherwise, is gonna hurry to tell the others -- Acher will suggest they include Shurik and Calli in their protection, because at this point, he thinks they're involved anyways.
