AFTER THE FIGHT

Hi everybody! This doubles as a plotting post and a quick summary of where we're at.

After the fight, Guillaume will show up. We may RP this out; we may not. Acher, Guillaume, and Victor will be on the students' side and protecting them; they can arrange for the people Apollo's possessed, once incapacitated, to be moved and restrained at a SICU facility. At this point, students have a couple choices.

First: they can go back into the school. Acher and Guillaume suggest wards around their dorms to monitor them, and basically keeping an eye on them. This is less suspicious and doesn't risk getting others involved.

Second: they could go to a SICU safehouse, located a little away from campus; it's in some old servants' quarters they used for mortal workers at Paracelsus prior to the invention of the automobile.

They could mix the two.

If he learns about the whale attack -- and Carlie, unless advised otherwise, is gonna hurry to tell the others -- Acher will suggest they include Shurik and Calli in their protection, because at this point, he thinks they're involved anyways.

Ezra's partial to the idea of being outside of the school- for all they know, it was more than only Rahela, Ivarrson, and a bunch of the mundane staff. It'd be difficult to feel safe- or to feel others are safe- with that knowledge of them being around. But if everyone's keen on sticking around the school for the time being, he'll probably stay.

I'm also cool with Calli being roped into this. She'll protest but alas.

Will there be a revealing of the tattoos to the three of them? I suppose it could come up in the log.

I think Carlie will be for -- but checking, first, by journal -- telling Shurik and Calli the basics. Her view is they are pulled into this; they should know enough to know they may wanna get the hell out.

Acher don't get a vote here.

Victor will be more in favor of the safehouse instead of sending the students back to the dorms, and argue for this. He thinks that's akin to tossing them to the wolves, as if Apollo knows they're marked, so would anyone else working with them.

For a mix/compromise, he may suggest some sort of fake extracurricular activity club if there's any feasible way for him to get away with its sudden inception (which may not fly with Para!), so they can attend classes but have a safehouse to stay in instead of the dorms under the guise there's some educational thing going on that requires after hours housing.

But if the students don't want to trust him, he can't really say anything to that. Haha, sorry Victor.



Rhys will be extremely guarded, and would prefer to not be in the safehouse, but will be far more focused on what makes everyone else feel more comfortable and go with that. He doesn't know if they can trust SICU, and if this has being going on a while, then the school is technically no more dangerous than it was by his logic. He will not push this idea if the general consensus seems to be "safehouse plz", however, and if ANYONE goes to the safehouse, he will go with them to help keep an eye on them because new spooky environment hiss grr.



Shurik will agree to be included in protection because how is he going to say no, exactly. Token sigh.

Acher will agree with the extracurricular activity! He'll be happy to set up the paperwork as quick as possible.

This could leave, from a purely "what RP is fun" standpoint, the option of students getting to go back to Paracelsus while hanging at the SICU safehouse. There can be the chance for social -- getting stuff from their dorms, checking in on classes, et cetera -- while being in close quarters.


Carlie's vote would be safehouse, but she'll want to hear what the others think (particularly Ezra because let's face it, she thinks of him as a leader type).

Reina would very much prefer to stay on campus. She doesn't really see how they're supposed to protect the campus and keep Undine and Apollo from messing with everyone if they're not actually on campus. (Also, she won't say it, but to her, the idea of a safehouse is pretty much the equivalent of running away, and everyone knows she has issues doing that.)

If the whole "extracurricular" excuse goes in, Rhys may point out that a legit excuse to not be in school gives them time to go strike at the heart of this stuff (by checking certain areas they know they need to look at) instead of going to class and waiting for more things to happen.

Val would guiltily agree to telling Calli and Shurik things because she sorta already told Shurik some things and Calli's her sis. Also, I think she's gonna offer to let Calli stay with her after this if she wants to/whenever she wants to.

OH ALSO Val will want to fill Rhys in right away, esp that masked man was there.

Acher would be for protecting Julian. I mean... with everything that happened, it seems dangerous. He'll just assume.

I'm not sure if others would see it differently!

Vanya is most persuaded by the arguments that they're equally fucked either way, so he'd probably go along with whichever option the group decided.

He might lean toward the safehouse since even on the off chance it's a trap, it's less like continuing to wait for the enemy's next move.

Roommate Shuffle?

New thread for potentially claiming/setting new roommates for safehouse. I'm assuming 2-3 per room like Para but leap in and correct me Tex if there's limited space and people are all crammed into one room or something.

Julian could use a change of pace unless nobody else wants to room with him then maybe he'll just take over a room with sewing supplies and say Lenore's his roommate.

Mirela's completely willing to go underground, especially if Rhys is coming along. She may want to take a small amount of time to swipe important reagants and similar from classroom stockpiles should that be valuable and useful.

She would concur with sparing the unmarked if the idea comes up. She wouldn't come up with it on her own.

KEEPER-SLAYER MEETING

So the Keepers and Slayers talk real quick!

They have to figure out what they're telling people; there's Victor and Acher, but there are also Calli, Shurik, and Julian. How much do they share with them?

Carlie will be for telling them as much as they know; she thinks, at this point, they have a right to know how dangerous it is because they were targeted. However, she'll also be for suggesting all of them lie low while they handle it. Because Carlie has issues with sharing her burdens.

Ezra is for telling them, though slightly hesitant with mentioning Lera's involvement, which I am assuming is part of this conversation?

Rhys wants to at least inform them getting them involved will mark them and maybe, please, do not get involved and do this, as it appears their enemies have ways of tracking them.

As long as this is made completely clear, he's more comfortable explaining other details as they ask. He'd rather not fork over too much without prompting.

EXPLORING STUFF/COUNTER ATTACK

Okay, so, a while back the characters talked about exploring the Tower (the place where they found Michel) and I can't remember why we never did this oops. Rhys will still want to do this, and with the new caves discovered, the others may bring to attention places to dive into and look for stuff. (Maybe they split up? Or systematic searching? Idk!)

I would at least like to say Rhys/people looked even if we can't find anything for modly reasons and we offscreen the effort. If there will be more to it than that and we need to wait, I think an IC excuse might be needed why they don't check now.

OH something that will come up when telling the others what happened with the whale thing is the cave the masked man vanished into and how they didn't follow 'cause are you fucking crazy BUT YEAH

Ezra is all for getting out and doing stuff (which is partly the reason he would prefer to withdraw from the school, but Victor's "field trips" will suffice).

I THINK it didn't get done because Romania trip/bus attack/Lera!?, the latter causing everyone to freak the fuck out and worry about that versus further investigation. Technically not a lot of time has passed?

Splitting up (or saying they split up) might be the best idea- with Rhys and Ez being such keeners they could spearhead seperate excursions, one into the Tower and the other into the caves, at least for a short while. There are apparently a lot of caves to look out for.

We can do this! We can, if it's cool, just make this the big event next week. I was gonna do it on IC Saturday of next week but with how things shaped out, during it earlier is fine.

With Ivarrson out of commission will LUCK 101 be getting cancelled or will they have a substitute?

(This only really affects Tristan since everyone else in that class is at hideout (or hiatused) but you know)
