Post-Event Wrap-Up

Hi everyone! The event is not quite wrapped up, but we're winding down. I figured people will probably leave after some healing; we definitely don't need to stop RPing, and should something happen that changes what I say here, I will edit accordingly!

Isabella will show up again for a tag or two shortly. Soon as I handle some other mod-related stuff.

We're now good for Friday and Saturday scenes. Since weekchange was... awhile... ago, here's the tags:

Friday 13, tag: ~week #15: 12/13/1996 (friday)
Saturday 14, tag: ~week #15: 12/14/1996 (saturday)

Basically, on Friday, it will be announced that Otto von Schellenberg was a traitor who was behind the attacks in the Tower. The man in the mask won't be mentioned, but it won't be said whether he was brought to justice either; it will also be announced that he was killed when confronted in Longpike, but not by who. If someone asks Isabella about it, she'll say she told the administration about Otto, but not about the students' involvement for their own safety (just in case). There is obviously an uproar about this, but it's kept pretty quiet.

The mundane news is reporting that Longpike was struck by a meteor. Seriously. People will be suspicious, though; some mundanes are saying that's impossible.

Exams are next week, and aren't canceled; however, if a character was seriously wounded and can't be back in good shape by Monday, their exams will be postponed. Otto's will be given by Rahela, who is actually an easier grader than Otto. Makeup exams will need to be taken the week before next semester starts; the written exams will be at the discretion of the teachers, but the makeup for the Tower run will be done by Erik.

The Tower run is expected to be safe, but this time, they're more serious. People can see something being brought in Saturday morning: three Archon-Golems, some of the most advanced automated magical sentinels known to man. They're prohibitively expensive and ridiculously powerful. They're considered military grade magical artifacts, partly because they're able to launch wide area-of-effect attacks that were meant to help crush whole divisions if World War III broke out in Europe. The rumor is that Lord Vorinus donated them personally, possibly to make up for Mircea's blunder. He's one of the few people who can afford it.
