OOC News
Given that we're now in a strange, new world where plot happens WHEN IT HAPPENS, we're gonna dispense -- for a little while, possibly forever -- with the notion that IC days match OOC days at all. (Has this ever been true?)
The next weekchange'll hopefully be in three weeks. However, if we hit a good point, it may happen on a day besides Saturday.
Last Week...
Hoo boy.
There was a terrible attack on Acher and Victor! Rahela, Erik, and some workers at the school attacked them in the woods... because Apollo was controlling them. A number of the Keepers and Slayers, plus Julian, went to their rescue -- and then Lera attacked, too, to do in Apollo's minions! At the end of the day, they saved everyone... and found out about SICU!
But, at the same time! A strange GROUND WHALE attacked Shurik. Carlie, Val, Kate, and Calli went to help him. They rejoined the others after that.
Now, everyone's staying at the SICU safehouse because Apollo might be controlling the entire school. Shurik, Julian, and Calli are in on the mystery! Sort of. But it's an open question who can be trusted -- and what SICU will really want! After all, they don't work for the Keepers and Slayers.
...This Week!
Officially, Rahela and Erik are said to have injuries from a monster attack severe enough that they cannot return to work for a bit. Rahela is expected to take a year off. This is announced via usenet on Sunday morning, and may seem suspicious. After all, Rahela's injuries didn't seem that bad. An interim headmaster is on his way to replace her, because Mircea is dead.
On Monday, he arrives. It's Gaius Lucius Vorinus, who has decided to stop being a politically potent demigod and become the headmaster of a school. Except he's still the first thing too.
Vorinus arrives with some pomp and circumstance. There are extremely awkward speeches. Sarah-Beth is hiding under her desk. Acher is of the strong opinion that they should go back to school approximately never and then on the phone all day to figure out what the hell. Ashtaroth is probably going to have a bad day. Really, everyone is.
On Tuesday, there will be a log for the Undine crew. Undine will want to talk to Nayan, Madi, Lera, and possibly the Masked Man. Which ties into...
Wednesday!
Our big event will occur Wednesday evening. The Slayers, Keepers, and anyone else coming with will venture into the Tower, where Michel died. They think they're headed to Undine's lair... and will discover that's not where that cave led. It's a tunnel that water and ice elementals are digging. It starts to get hot.
In fact: it's leading right to Apollo's seal room.
There will be a pretty major plot revelation at the end of Wednesday's event. We're gonna give a few OOC days after for characters to respond.
Weather
It's sunny and cheerful.
Because Vorinus made it that way. :)
